Mary looks fantastic here, the way she raises her head, turned slightly away from us adds a regal feel, we peasants are not worth looking at directly 
. Her hair and pose are terrific too, the twin braids leading the eye to her breasts, contours of her torso sloping outwards to the shapes of her hips, overlapped by her elegant crossing calves.
